The Marriage fix - Sandra Edwards

The Marriage Fix (Billionaire Games #3)The Marriage Fix by Sandra Edwards
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

The Marriage fix by Sandra Edwards is book 3 in the series and I was super excited when Netgalley gave me the chance to review this book. I fell in love with Lecie's brothers and I really wanted the chance to meet her in an in-depth way.

This book picks up with Lecie and her best friend vacationing in California after inheriting a house from her brothers uncle. She's loving her freedom and has no plans to return home to France any time soon, much to her interfering fathers dismay.

So what's an interfering father to do? Well he's going to get his daughter deported! Julian the oldest of the siblings knows this isn't going to end well he knows his sister will fight back and is worried she will do some thing drastic. He sends his wife and sister in law to watch over Lecie..... and find her a husband!

Nick is down on his luck having been stood up at the altar and robbed by his ex of all his savings he's on the verge of losing his business until a cute rich blonde makes him a offer he can't refuse.

I liked Lecie she was young and a free spirit wanting to find her own way in life. It impressed me that even with all of her money she wasn't selfish or spoilt.
The relationship she has with her sister in-laws was what made the story for me they really are comical together I loved the recurring characters.
Nick was a great match for Lecie kind hearted, good natured and hard working I loved that he was able to teach her new skills and how to look at the world differently.

Although I loved the idea of the story, the plot even the characters I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first two maybe it's just me I don't know!! This relationship seemed rushed with little 'couple' time I would of preferred more one on one time between them.

Sandra Edwards The Marriage Bargain

The Marriage BargainThe Marriage Bargain by Sandra Edwards
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Marriage bargain by Sandra Edwards

I recommend this read to fans of Jennifer Probst and Melody Anne.

Mega rich and with the world at his feet Julian De Laurent seems to have it all accept the one thing he needs, a wife! His father has arranged him a marriage to a woman he could never see himself with, and so Julian does the only thing he can and places an ad in the newspaper for an actress to play the role of his wife. If he already has a "wife" his father can't possibly force him to marry another.

Camille is a intern for a gossip magazine she's sent undercover to pose as an actress to get the dirt on Julian de Laurent, a sexy French business mogul only to find out he's in need of a wife. When Camille refuses to write the story and abuse Julian's trust her boss fires her. Now broke and in need of a job would it be so hard to pretend to be a wife for 6 months and 5 million dollars? How can she possibly resist Julian for that long with out becoming attached?

It was awesome to see somebody as rich as Julian need Camille who was essentially poor, not only need her but learn something from her. While money seemed to be the most important factor at the start of their relationship that quickly changed... And gave me the warm and fuzzies!

While the plot was some what predictable I thoroughly enjoyed this read! The characters where developed nicely and the comical sexy chemistry between Julian and Camille was sincere and sweet. I loved the added mix of the jilted ex, the best friend and the play boy brother it made for a great balance of flirtation, anger and damn right bitchy behavior.

I loved how the book was set between France and LA... Oh the life of the jet setting mega rich!! Ms Edwards has a winner on her hands I can't wait for bk 2

Exclave - short stories

eXclave - a BDSM erotic romance bundle (eXclave, #1 & 2)eXclave - a BDSM erotic romance bundle by Emily Ryan-Davis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

if you want a fast read that's fast to the point this is for you. Trapped in a business marriage Lauren feels lonely and spends her nights talking online to a man she only knows as master. After travelling across the country and having mind blowing sex with a faceless stranger, her husband makes a surprise return after years of being apart only to give Lauren exactly what she wants and needs.

A little sexy read that's for sure! The story is pretty transparent but still enjoyable. The characters where interesting, the only problem with short stories is I always want more!

Book 2 in the exclave series we meet Mac and Amy who have been together for a long time but over that time Amy has changed and become aware of herself sexually. she's now 30 and lost her way in life as a catalog model she's getting called less and less for work. She has submissive needs but is a afraid to tell her husband what she really needs in fear of a divorce.

Mac knows what his wife wants and needs but he can't bring himself to face her, having watched his father abuse his mother he finds it had to separate that from what Amy is asking him for. He doesn't want to become his father but he's scared if he doesn't do something soon his marriage will come to an end.

I enjoyed this story more... while both books where about a marriage in crisis this couple you could relate to. people do change over time and its about learning to change and adapt that keeps a relationship going. I loved reading of a couple that loved each other so much they where willing to do just that in order to keep there relationship strong.

Gritty and hot with the right amount of sweet and tender!

Bonds of desire bk3 (wicked play) Lynda Aicher

Bonds of Desire (Wicked Play, #3)Bonds of Desire by Lynda Aicher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I've been so invested in this series and these characters I awaited this book with bated breathe!! Thank you NetGalley for letting me review this book.

Bonds of desire picks up with Seth he's always been the most complex male out of the 3 friends in my opinion. We didn't know much about him he's reserved and some what secretive but loyal and always there to pick up the pieces for his friends.

There is an incident at the club a Dom Abuses his power and it leaves a sub named Tyler in a bad condition. Seth feels responsible for Tyler in a way that he hasn't felt for a person in a long time, Tyler speaks to his need as a Dom.

Tyler doesn't want Seth's help, why would anybody want to help him he's just a whore and not on his level. He's learnt over time nobody helps you for nothing in this world so depending on anybody would end wrong.

Allie has been asked to the club by her friend Kendra in a lawyer capacity a sub who is injured needs legal advice. She's reluctant at first because there is something about Seth that calls to a deep need in her, she wants him.. but his life style and what the den represents scares her. She watched her mother be repressed in a marriage she was trapped in and vowed she would never have her own power taken away.

Tyler will accept Seth's help if Allie stays with him also.. The sexual tension is high from the start with this 3 some they all offer something to the relationship and each other..even if its not seen as conventional.

I enjoyed the read I will admit I did prefer the other two books just because I feel the other books had much more of a deeper personal connection. This book had that also but not to the same extent, as the story was split between 3 people.
I've always liked Seth and Allie and I enjoyed getting to know more about them in an In depth way.
Tyler was a great new character who offered a little diversity I liked how different they all were but how well they blended together.

You definetly have to read with an open mind and let go of social norms and ideas.. I am really happy this series will continue and can't wait to read about the additional characters.
